Fed assesment of economy

For those of you who may have not seen the brilliant statement from the federal reserve today: I know i sent this this same information in Jan 2008 in an unsolicited e-mail to the Frderal Reserve. Obviously they dod not have the time to read it back then.

This is a link to the contact page for the FED. I would encourage you to submitt your unbiased views on the economy in your areas pointing out deffencies and any highpoints as they may occure http://www.federalreserve.gov/feedback.cfm

State of affairs

Good afternoon everyone.

Hope you are all well and finding opportunities in the crazy market conditions we are all facing.

I am sure all of our respective markets are experiencing different levels of activity and change. Here is Austin we feel somewhat fortunate that we remain active in selling and buying at most price levels.

Our most effective market in Jumbos as we did not see a bump in the rates in our area and our buyer pool was probably 70% reduced from one year ago. (The 500,000-$1 million market). more...
