Sol, there are several other top agents in my area who also outsell all of the Help-U-Sell offices combined. It isn't just me. All of the companies and agents are down - full service and discount alike. But the companies that have been hit the hardest have been those who *marketed* themselves as "lower fee". Lower fee is not a current "go button". Effective is.
Help-U-Sell isn't making it up on volume in my area, Phoenix - no discount or limited service company is. I doubt they are in any city. I am a high producing agent and my stats are WAY off from what they were. (down by about 50%) Still, in the past twelve months my team and I have outsold ALL of the Help-U-Sell OFFICES in my area combined. They were showing 14 offices in this area and the combined volume off all of them is only about 80% of what I am doing. My average sales price is 250k. The fact is that if a company positions themselves as "discount" or "lower fee" they can't also own "fantastic results" in the minds of the public. It is just the way people think, not any reflection on the service or results HUS delivers. Historically, it is a seller's market about a third of the time and a buyer's market about two-thirds of the time. The discount model is "here to stay" but I don't expect to see them thrive in markets like this. Ever.
