CEO, PropertyShark

"A positive attitude with strong determination leads to success." This is what Bill Staniford believes. Born leader and achiever, he studied Psychology at the University of Texas and pursued his master's in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management at Leeds School of Business.

Bill, articulate and logical, worked as a Linguist/Intelligence Analyst/Cryptologist at the U.S. Marine Corps. He collected, analyzed, and disseminated sensitive information. Additionally, he conducted training on rapid combat scenario preparations. He evaluated personnel's performance as Assistant Team Leader and was instrumental in counter narcotics efforts in Panama. He was a recipient of Good Conduct and Foreign Service medals and the National Defense ribbon for exemplary performance.

Due to his diligence, he was able to raise $100,000 fund for an agri-business firm, the Caribbean Enterprises, LLC, in Nicaragua. In 2001, the CEO of Whetstone Consulting, LLC recruited Bill to lead strategic planning activities for the firm's top clients, Ball Aerospace and Lockheed Martin. He also raised a $10,000,000 private equity offering to fund commercial real estate purchase of Income Property Specialists.

In 2002, he established a home improvement company, Mozaic, Ltd. He achieved $850,000 start-up fund and streamlined the company's marketing plan. In six months, the revenue doubled, overhead was cut down to 35 percent, and generated $1,000,000 annual sales. Mozaic was awarded "Best of the Main Line" by Main Line Today Magazine for his commitment to provide utmost customer satisfaction.

He became a Director of Kaplan English Programs and oversaw its New York City operations managing two locations comprising 24 percent of the programs' $14,000,000 national revenue. He handled more than 350 students from 30 different countries and was appointed as a government agent who ensured compliance of F-1 visa regulations and communicated information to non-native English speakers. He conducted sales presentations and seminars and increased revenue up to more than 50 percent.

Bill, with his exceptional communication skills as well as business, sales, and marketing proficiency, managed his own trade and spearheaded development initiatives. His expertise on data analysis added to his attributes as a versatile professional. His diligence was even more challenged when PropertyShark.com employed him as the Vice President of Sales in 2006. He administered sales, customer service, business development, and real estate training. His hard work paid off and because of his exemplary performance and dedication, he successfully transitioned to CEO.
